Salvation Questions Getting You Down

Many people are concerned with their salvation. How do you know that you are saved? The answer is if you believe the gospel with all your heart that Jesus lived, died and was resurrected to glory, you are saved (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). If you shall confess with your mouth that the Lord Jesus lives, and shall believe in your heart that God Has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). With your heart you will believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10). That is the criteria for salvation. It is not some mystery cloked in the deceits and traditions of man. If someone says that all you need to do is ask Jesus into your heart, you are not saved. If someone says that you must be baptized for salvation you are not saved. These and other so called spiritual traditions will not save you. When you are saved, God seals you with His Holy Spirit. What we must have is faith and believe. If you are feeling down and confused about your salvation know that it is secure in Jesus. We have been called unto righteousness and we will be with him forever.
